If you're a Wizard with money to burn, use it on Kill Spells. This isn't your run-of-the-mill "kills any enemy unless they're immune, which all tough enemies are" RPG death Spell. Kill always works on anything. The only downside is that, like other Spells, it only works in dungeons and towers. But it's a very quick and effective method of taking out Balrons and other tough dungeon foes.

Kill is the real reason to play a Wizard. The Spell doesn't always work, but when it does, it outright kills the target at a range of 3 squares. It's not quite as good as it sounds, sadly. First off, it's expensive. Secondly, it doesn't work in cities or castles, which is unfortunate since Guards would be the second-best target in the game for it. And thirdly, and most unfortunately, it doesn't work against Mondain, who would be the absolute best target in the game for it. Still, if you're rich, it can be fun to use against Wandering warlocks and such.

Decorp is a death Spell, which means that if it fails, it does nothing. It's a risky Spell, but instant death is pretty useful. At 55 MP, a Wizard is only using this Spell once, so it should be saved for tough enemies like Dragons and Balrons.
