Ice3 is the ultimate elemental attack Spell for your Red Wizard, though Flare puts it to shame. There aren't a ton of targets weak to Ice late in the game, but Ice3 deals enough damage to make it worthwhile against groups of Monsters without extreme Magic Defense.
