Era
Legends
The era of Legends serves two very different purposes. Early in the game it serves as a convenient hub for you to travel between the four Worlds. All four Time Doors appear in a protected area at the southern end of the continent.
Your ultimate goal in the game is the castle of Shadow Guard which is in the center of the Legends landmass. However, getting there is no cakewalk. There are 31 monsters guarding the path to the castle, all of which have the maximum 255 HP. 13 of the monsters are nasty Balrons, and there's even a Cleric in there.
You can avoid most of the monsters by taking a Plane through a Time Door from another era and flying over the monsters, directly to the castle. You'll probably still have to fight a few enemies, but this will save you a lot of time and HP.
The upside of defeating the monster horde in Legends is that only normal monsters will respawn. Sure, you may see another Balron, but they'll be very rare. Once you survive the initial fight, the rest is relatively easy.
