The Passwall Spell almost seems unfair. It removes any wall, door, or secret door in the square in front of you, leaving open space. If you leave the dungeon, the destroyed square will be restored, but it stays removed even if you head to another floor. This is an excellent Spell for creating shortcuts or making your way to otherwise hard-to-reach treasure rooms.

Passwall does have one major limitation, though: it doesn't work on a dungeon's outer walls. These dungeons are not designed to wrap around the edges (though a few do anyway), and this Spell doesn't allow you to do so.
