Montor West is similar to Montor East, with some different informaton available. Here you'll learn how to find the Cards, assuming you find the Shrines first. You'll find one useful hint that's very badly phrased here: one man tells you to seek the Jester in "Castle Fire", even though there are no Jesters in Castle Fire. It seems he actually means to seek the Jester in the lava (fire) in the Castle of Lord British. Either that, or he's just messing with you.

The Montors are rather similar townes in terms of the amenities they offer. Both have largely the same Shops. Where they differ is the hints found there. You will be told how to use the Cards on the panels in Castle Fire here, an invaluable hint for the final encounter with Exodus.

The city of Montor, not to be confused with The Dungeon of Montor, is one of the most basic cities in the game. There are only two Shops, and it's half the size of most other cities. It is possible to Steal Weapons or Food here and completely elude the Guards, though you have to be a bit patient. Simply draw both nearby Guards to you while remaining in the Shop, getting them to come through the southern (or northern) entrance. Once they have, head for the central path out of the Shop and make a beeline for the city exit.

Montor

The city of Montor, not to be confused with The Dungeon of Montor, is located far to the south in the Lands of Lord British.
