Castle
Before entering Castle Fire, make sure everyone has the Marks of Fire, Force, and Kings. (You'll also need someone with the Mark of Snake to reach the castle at all.) Everyone should be using nothing but the Exotic Arms and Exotic Armours. (No other Weapons or Armour will work here, including ranged Weapons.) High Stats and HP are also vital. You can win with less than 1,000 HP per character, but it's pretty tough. Interestingly, you will regain HP and MP (and use Food) at the overworld rate here, rather than the usual towne rate. This means you'll have a lot more opportunities to Cast Spells, which is good considering the opposition you face.
The central area of the castle is filled with random explosions that will damage the party. Fortunately, the Balron and Daemons there will not attack.
Heading north from the main entrance leads to a number of cells filled with enemies (including a fake treasure Chest). There are also two non-aggressive Rangers you can speak to, but they have nothing useful to say.
Your goal is the back of the castle, and to reach if you'll have to head toward one of the southern towers. Both paths are virtually identical, and require you to fight a number of Dragons and one battle against Balrons.
Once you reach Exodus's room, you're in for a bit of a surprise—there are four Floor tiles that will attack. These aren't tough enemies, but you can't see them, which can make the battle quite annoying. Your best bet is to back up and just keep Attacking up until you win.
To defeat Exodus, you'll need to Insert the four cards into the four panels in order (Love, Sol, Moons, then Death) from left to right. If you get one wrong, the character doing the inserting will die, so be careful!
