The Hawkeye has a better Magic rating than Hope's previous Weapons, and synthesizes Magic Wall when combined with a Magician's Mark or Auric Amulet. You can buy one before you can find it, but at this point in the game 4,400 gil is a steep price to have a Weapon a few Maps early.
