Poft features the same Shop items as Paloom, and even features the same 32 gil ship between the towns. The only thing new here is the first appearance of Cid in the series, in the town pub. He will teach you the [Airship] Keyword, and his assistant will fly you to various locations for a fee, as follows:
Bafsk: 100 gil
Salamand: 200 gil
Semitt Falls: 300 gil
Kashuan Keep: 400 gil
Early in the game, you're better off saving your money and making more by walking to these locations, but it can be a handy set of shortcuts in a pinch.
