A number of new encounters make the third floor the most dangerous one yet. Soldiers are particularly nasty foes who hit hard and don't go down easy. Don't mistake them for Guardians just because they look similar. Groups of Rakshasas and Medusas can be quite frustrating to fight. Wipe out the Medusas with a basic attack Spell and take out the Rakshasas physically. You may have a problem if they start casting Slow1 Spells. It's best to run if you end up in a position where you can't really deal damage anymore. There is an uncommon encounter with a quartet of Fire Hydras which can be dangerous to any character not protected from Fire. They can be taken down quickly with physical attacks, but with four of them they may get off a number of Blaze attacks before that happens. Vampire Lords also appear here for the first time, but they do a better job of protecting themselves than harming you. Take them down before they have a chance to put up a fight. Finally, the rare encounter is with Dark Warriors, who are basically like Dark Wizards... except they can't really hurt you. They shouldn't be a problem.
