Don't be fooled into thinking that Soldiers are just better versions of Guardians. Instead of multiple weak attacks that Paralyze, Soldiers get a single attack that dishes out extreme damage. Their Defense and HP are high enough to make them tough to take down, and magic is basically useless. Fortunately you'll only ever see one at a time, possibly accompanied by a weaker Guardian. Don't take these foes lightly.
