Haste
If you don't play D&D, the Clay Golem's abilities may seem bizarre. They like to cast Haste, and their attacks are Poisonous. They don't have much defense, but resist most types of magic. They're easy enough to take out with physical attacks, and while a Hasted Clay Golem can be dangerous due to their generous Attack scores, they have to spend a round casting Haste first. Use that time to kill them.

Iron Golems are an interesting foe that a lot of people would never know about if not for the bestiary. The rarest encounter on the final floor of the final dungeon, when you actually do find Iron Golems you can't help but be disappointed. Sure, their Defense is a truly ridiculous 100, and they hit pretty hard. They even have a group KO attack (which is Death elemental despite being called Toxin). But there's nothing special about them except that they're hard to find, really. Just hit them a few times and they go down, 100 Defense or no. (Of course, if crit rates actually worked properly, these guys might be a problem.)

RockGOLS are easily taken out in a single attack—provided they don't get off a successful SLOW beforehand. They appear in groups so this is a problem, especially since they aren't vulnerable to magic.

Stone Golems are nearly invulnerable to magic. They resist everything, and have 14 automatic magic defenses besides. Non-elemental Spells still deal some damage, but buffs like Berserk are a better use of your MP. Stone Golems have 7 devastating attacks, and can also cast Stop 8 on the party, but because of their high defense and HP, it is often worth killing their allies first.
