Robo is strong, hardy, and slow. He doesn't learn actual magic, but he is the only basic party member with a Shadow-elemental single Techs. He also has Fire- and Lightning-elemental Techs, making him fairly versatile as far as exploiting weaknesses, though his low Magic score limits how useful this is unless you give him a lot of Magic Tabs.
Robo is interesting because he is primarily a Physical fighter with a lot of mediocre other abilities. The abilities may not be great, but they help in a pinch, and Robo can survive just about anything.
