If you're doing a frontal assault, you'll have to fight a series of Encounters in the Elevator with their own special mechanics. You'll start on floor 6 (regardless of what floor you actually entered from), and every time you operate the elevator, you'll have traveled between 7 and 15 floors. The exact number is 6 + anywhere from 1 to 8. If you get lucky and go 14 floors, there's a 50/50 shot it will be increased to 15. The trip ends when you reach Floor or above. This will result in an average of 6 Encounters. Exactly what you encounter depends on the floor you land on (which is displayed within the Elevator).

After the initial assault, this Elevator will only take you to the 1f. Lobby or the 59th Floor, depending on where you enter it.
