The Gem Box allows a Character to choose and cast two Spells in a single turn with the X Magic Command (which replaces Magic). You can't choose to cast only a single Spell, and the game doesn't check if you have enough MP to cast both Spells when you choose them. This is an extremely powerful Relic that turns a spellcaster into a flexible death machine.
