You'll likely do some shopping here for non-metallic Weapons and Armor. Cecil can't use any swords, so your best bet is to give him a bow. Most of the enemies in the Magnetic Cavern are vulnerable to Holy Arrows rather than the elemental arrows you'll find here, so head to Mysidia and stock up. If you no longer have Cid's Wooden Hammer, buy him a new one here. As for Armor, everyone is basically restricted to Ruby Rings for arm gear. Yang and Tellah are likely fine as far as head and body gear go, but you will most likely want to pick up Headbands and Kenpo Gis in Baron for Cecil and Cid. (Alternately you could give Cecil a Magus Hat for improved magic and Magic Defense.) Don't equip all of this until you're ready to enter the Magnetic Cavern, because the enemies around Troia are nasty. And once you give Cecil a bow, put him in the back row.
