This floor is the core level of the Cave of Summons. You'll find several Shops with nice items, as well as an inn, a save point, and two boss battles to earn Rydia new summons. The Sorcerer Robe is a great upgrade for your mages, and the Aegis Shield is a very nice shield as well. The Lunar Staff offers a solid bonus to Will for Rosa when she is casting rather than shooting.

When you are ready, speak to Asura. The key to winning is cast Wall on her so her healing and buffing Spells hit you instead. Beyond that, she will counterattack with powerful physical attacks whenever you hit here. For an easy victory, put Blink up on the party before you start attacking. She is a Mage, so the Mage Masher from the Sylvan Cave and Mute Arrows for Rosa are both highly effective. Since she'll have Wall on, Rydia should stick to summoning Titan.

You may want to go back and save before speaking to the King, because Leviatan is a much tougher opponent. The usual tactic of using Bersk on your party will work, but Rosa should spend most of her time healing. Cure4 is handy to have to recover from his Big Wave attack. This fight is easier if Kain is in the party, but it is winnable without him. It's worth doing early, because Levia is not only a fantastic summon, beating him is required to be able to fight Bahamut on the Moon.
