Phunbaba uses and absorbs Thunder, with both Bolt 2 and Bolt 3 at his disposal. He can also use Blow Fish, which will do an even 1,000 damage regardless of the target's defenses. His Solar Plex attack is also quite powerful.

The third fight with Phunbaba is similar to the second, except this version will counter attacks with Bolt 2. Once you've dealt at least 10,640 damage, Phunbaba will use BabaBreath to remove two random Characters from the battle, then the battle will proceed to round 4.

In the fourth and final battle with Phunbaba, you can finally defeat the huge green fiend. Terra joins your party in a permanent Morph state for this fight. Phunbaba's attacks haven't changed, but his defenses are slightly lower and his Speed is slightly higher. He'll also be restored to his full 26,000 HP.
