When you first encounter them in and around the Marsh Cave, SCORPIONS are a dangerous foe with a pair of nasty, Poisonous attacks. They have no specific vulnerabilities, but SLOW can blunt their attack. DARK is also effective, but will miss more than 40% of the time.

Scorpions open by Condemning your Characters with Doom Sting, then simply attack normally. Their incredibly high Mag.Def makes it difficult to take out a group quickly. A Black Belt helps immensely.
