The Adamant Armor is patently ridiculous, and the Character who wears it is basically invincible. It has an obscene defense score, huge bonuses to every stat, resistance to the primary Elements, and even grants status immunity. Anyone can wear it, but it really doesn't even matter who you give it to. Once you have Adamant Armor, you win.
However, getting a suit is no easy task. I've beaten the game dozens of times and never managed to get one legitimately. You'll first need to find a Pink Tail in a certain room in the Lunar Subterrane, and trade that for the Adamant Armor. Your best bet if you want this Armor is to spend a lot of time in the Giant of Babil stealing Alerts from Searchers. These make it much easier to find the PinkPuffs that will (very rarely) drop the Pink Tail you need.
