Amenities Revive Spring

When you first arrive here, there isn't much to do aside from gather information. Everyone in town has been turned into a ghost, so the Shops are all closed, though you can sleep at the inn if you like. Make sure you speak with Cid's ghost standing next to the bar so you can find the airship in the nearby desert. (Don't miss the Potion you can get by walking through the wall between the bar and the Item Shop desk in the inn.)

You can navigate through the woods starting near the revive spring building and find several Items. Stay away from the Mythril Mines at the back end of town for now, as they are filled with powerful foes and you can't reach the Treasure there yet.

After defeating the Djinn in the Sealed Cave, the Shops in Kazus will open up. Pretty much everything here is an upgrade, and you'll find the Fire Spell, plus more Blizzard and Sleep Spells if you want to double up. Now is the time to investigate the Mythril Mines behind the town and find some Treasure.
