Monsters Encountered Fire Gigas, Fire Hydra, Fire Lizard, Hellhound, Lava Worm, Minotaur, Ogre Chieftan, Ogre Mage, Red Dragon
A number of new creatures appears on B4 of Mt. Gulg. Lava Worms are relatively straightforward enemies that deal a whole lot of damage with their single attack, and have both high HP and high Defense. You'll need physical attacks to take them out. Fire Gigantes are similar, though with higher Attack and lower Defense. You can have a character use the Claymore against them to help take them out quickly, and you will want to because they hit hard. Fire Lizards are uncommon and less of a threat than some of the other Monsters. They also have decent Defense and almost 300 HP, but their Attack will barely break through your Warrior's Defense. The main threat from Fire Lizards comes from their moderate-damage Blaze attack, which is similar to a Fire1 attack that hits the whole party. Finally, the rare Red Dragons are extremely dangerous. Their physical attack is similar to that of the Fire Gigas, except you should pray they use it because their Blaze attack puts Fire3 to shame. Don't hesitate to case NulFire and/or run if you should encounter one.
