Ochus have high defense and HP, but thankfully their Attack is fairly low (at least compared to the other river creatures). They are Poisonous, but that should be no problem at this stage of the game. With three attacks, they can do a number on lightly armored foes, but shouldn't be able to significantly hurt your Warrior. Hydras and Crocodiles are a higher priority, but you should take out Ochus before focusing melee attacks on any Piranhas they appear with.
The gaping maw and lethal tentacles almost ruin the beautiful flower atop its head.
