By the time Wyrms start appearing, they really aren't anything special. Their attacks are moderately dangerous, but individually they aren't much of a problem. Fighting three of them can be somewhat dangerous, since it will usually take a few hits to take down each one, but they won't do more than sap your party's resources.

Note
Capable of inflicting Deprotect.
Note
Susceptible to Poison.
Wyverns are nasty foes who can, fortunately, be avoided by keeping the area rainy. They resist all three of Vanille's available Saboteur Abilities until staggered. You will get a lot of mileage out of Sazh's Synergist Abilities, but your main goal is to stay alive while building up the Wyvern's chain meter. Do not underestimate its powerful attacks—cast Esuna to remove Deprotect before the Wyvern one-shots a Character with its Bite attack.
