Anacondas are your most common foe here, which is nice because they are not terribly dangerous, even in large groups. The Cobras may actually be more of a problem, since they are Poisonous, but by now you should be able to afford a large stock of Antidotes. The Minotaurs are a new foe with a lot of HP but low Defense and only moderate Evasion. Their attacks are fairly powerful, and they get two of them, but they aren't very difficult to take out. The general theme of this floor is large numbers of enemies, and you can expect to deal with groups of Ogres, Gargoyles, spiders, and Mummies. You might be tempted to clear them out with magic, but you have a long dungeon ahead of you. Try to conserve your Spells.

This floor features six branching paths centered on the entrance. You'll find three Treasure rooms to the north and southeast, all of which are guarded by EARTHS. You can avoid these encounters if you're careful. The western hallway is filled with GIANTS and IGUANAS, and is a great place to level if you're strong enough. The stairs leading to B2 are at the end of the eastern path.
