Despite its description, there are actually quite a few Statuses a Remedy doesn't cure, including all of the ones a physical attack will negate. Notably it does cure Seizure, which an Antidote does not (though the Antdot spell does).
Remedies are very expensive and in most cases you're better off using the much cheaper Status-specific healing Items instead.

The Remedy+ is an improved version of a Remedy that cures Slow, Stop, Doom, and Vit 0 in addition to the Status Effects cured by a standard Remedy. A Remedy+ is actually better than the Esuna Spell in that it also cures Doom.
The easiest way to get a Remedy+ is by refining 10 Remedies with Med LV Up, but this will cost you 5,000 gil per Remedy+. It's probably not worth having a lot of these in general, though they may come in handy. However, you will need 6 Remedies+ to attract the GF Doomtrain, so keep that in mind.
