Surprisingly, the King Behemoth's attacks aren't as fierce as those of the Blue Dragon you've likely already run into. With no special attacks at all, Blink will go a long way towards making this fight very easy. Of course, the King Behemoth has 5,000 HP and no weaknesses, so it can take a while.

The second version of the SrBehemoth is undead and uses a smaller variety of attacks than its living version. It will use Hypno Gas to inflict Psyche on party members, then follow up with four consecutive powerful attacks against them. SrBehemoth drops the amazing BehemothSuit, which you can get more of by fighting SrBehemoths on the Veldt.

Note
Delivers devastating physical attacks.
Behemoth King are powerful creatures, among the most dangerous on The Archylte Steppe (aside from the Oretoises). They will likely be bad news early in the chapter, unless you achieve a preemptive strike. In their initial form, their chain gauge rises quickly and they don't deal all that much damage. However, once they drop to half HP or so, they will stand up, becoming much more powerful and restoring their HP to full. The chain gauge will remain where it was, but their chain resistance increases to 95, making it difficult to finish staggering them even if you were pretty close to begin with. Once the standing Behemoth King is at very low HP, it will repeatedly use its Sunder ability, which can even break through the defenses of a Sentinel in a few shots. Your best bet, therefore, is to stagger them before they stand. This can be difficult to do if you're party is well-armed, but dealing less damage will actually help. Once staggered, start launching the Behemoth King and whatever you do, never let it get on its feet and do anything!
