Give the RUBY to the Titan to reach Sarda's Cave and obtain the ROD allowing you to reach Earth Cave B4.
The Great Axe is a strange Weapon that seems like it ought to be for sale somewhere, but is in fact only found in a chest in the Titan's Cave. Like the Battle Axe, the Great Axe is sort of a trap. It dishes out more damage than the Long Sword or Wyrmkiller, but at the cost of a lot of accuracy, and you will find it right around the levels where your Warrior will be getting a third hit. You won't get three hits with the Great Axe until level 18, by which point you should have moved on to superior weaponry.
