The CATMEN's two Poisonous hits are powerful, making them dangerous in packs. They are not individually difficult to kill, but it may be useful to soften them up with attack Spells to take them down quickly, especially when they appear in very large numbers in the Mirage Tower.

Rakshasas are surprisingly resilient Spellcasters that can prove to be very annoying if you're not prepared for them. They resist every Element of attack Spell, making them difficult to deal with via magic despite their low Magic Defense. They have low HP but high Defense, making them tricky to take out in one shot. Their attacks are fairly weak, though they get three of them, but they spend most of their time casting Spells anyway. A pack of Rakshasas casting Slow1 and Fog can severely hamper your offense, and if you let them live too long they will eventually cast Fire2. Try to take them out before that happens, using Haste to counter Slow1 if necessary. NulFire can also be useful if the fight is dragging on.

The Rakshasa is a standard buffing/debuffing Daemon, just with a lot more HP. Its dances cause massive status ailments or grant bonuses to itself and any allies. Unlike the usual casting Daemon strategy, though, Rakshasas take a while to kill and thus should be saved for last. They aren't a big threat without allies to help them.
