The Yahnikurm Desert around the Mirage Tower is home to by far the most dangerous World Map encounters in the game. A pair of ANKYLOS can deal massive damage before you have a chance to take them out, and a quartet of R.ANKYLOS are even more dangerous. The Sand W's CRACK should be less of a threat if you have a few Ribbons on hand. The rare T REX appears only in this area, and should not be trifled with should you run into one. They have a whopping 600 HP, and deal more damage than any other World Map enemy in the game.

The desert around the Tower of Mirage is home to by far the most dangerous overworld encounters in the game. A pair of Desert Barettas can deal massive damage before you have a chance to take them out, and a quartet of normal Barettas are even more dangerous. The Sand Worms' Earthquake should be less of a threat if you have a few Ribbons on hand. The rare Tyrannosaur appears only in this area, and should not be trifled with should you run into one. They have a whopping 600 HP, and deal more damage than any other overworld enemy in the game. Fortunately, chances are you won't find one unless you go looking for it to fill out your bestiary at the end of the game.
