On the lowest level of the Temple of Fiends Past, face CHAOS and break the time loop that has trapped the world in a cycle of destruction.
Due to a bug, Earthquake is not subject to magic defense. It does not have an element, so it will always deal full damage based on its successes. Further, it deals double damage against Earth monsters. Earthquake was intended to be less effective against Flying monsters, but a separate bug prevents that effect.
