Tents have double the effect of Sleeping Bags, but cost more than triple the gil. You'll still use a lot of Tents, simply because they're more widely available. As with Sleeping Bags, the main benefit is the ability to save on the World Map. But also like Sleeping Bags, Tents don't restore any MP.
