Restores 120 HP and all MP to all party members, and allows the player to save the game. Can only be used outdoors. Note that the game is saved before MP is restored.
While the CABIN is a marginal upgrade over the TENT, the HOUSE is something else entirely—it's the only way to restore MP outside of a town. You will pay dearly for this capability, but it can make trips to the longer dungeons quite a bit easier. No one wants to walk all the way back to town in the middle of a dungeon. Don't waste HOUSES, though, as 3,000 G is always a significant amount of money. Remember to use any CURE and HEAL spells you have remaining before using a HOUSE.

Cottages are essentially an Elixir that affects the whole party, but they can only be used on the world map. They also cost 5,000 gil, putting them out of reach early on. They are worthwhile investments when traveling a long distance to a dungeon such as the Dreadnought or Coliseum. They lose a lot of their luster in the late game when it's much easier to return to an inn via ship or airship.
