You'll find the Chocobo Village north of Troia. This large Area is similar to a Chocobo Forest, though there are no Gysahl Greens hidden in the central grass. Instead, hidden paths lead to three around the outside of the Area. You'll also find black chocobos here, which will fly (though not over mountains) and can land in forests. When you re-mount them, they will fly back to the Chocobo Village automatically. These are your ticket to the Magnetic Cavern.

Note that, after you return to Troia Castle with the Earth Crystal, you will be unable to fly your airship freely until you complete the Tower of Zot. If you need to go anywhere else, your only transport method is a black chocobo.
