Crawlers are my personal least favorite enemy in the game, narrowly edging out Mindflayers. Crawlers aren't there to deal much damage—they tend to do only 1 per hit—but they get 8 attacks, and each can Paralyze its target. In other words, if a Crawler attacks you, you're going to end up Paralyzed. They aren't tough to take out, but make sure you do so quickly. And don't hesitate to double- or triple-up attacks on Crawlers, since they will very likely Paralyze one of your attackers before he gets a chance to act.

CREEPS are dangerous foes early in the game, best handled with FIRE. They deal significant damage even to FIGHTERS, and have enough HP and Absorb to withstand several rounds of physical assault. Their weakness to Fire can and should be exploited. Later, when they appear alongside OGRES, the CREEPS are still your primary target; they deal nearly as much damage, but are much easier to kill.
