Era Present
At various points in the game, Taban will give Lucca nice pieces of Armor. When you arrive after defeating Heckran, speak to Lucca's mother, and then speak to Taban in the main area to earn the Taban Vest.

Later on, after repairing the Masamune, Taban will give Lucca the Taban Helm. Finally, once you return from the Mountain of Woe, he will give her the Taban Suit.
