As bosses go, the Behemoth really isn't that scary. Its attacks are about on par with that of a Hill Gigas, and it's just as easy to use Blink to negate them. With no special attacks, once the Behemoth can't hit you, it isn't much of a threat. Berserk and Curse can help get through its armor and huge HP total. Sadly, the Behemoth drops no Treasure.

Behemoths aren't that hard to kill, if you're careful. There are a few things to remember. The first is that they only counterattack, so if you need a breather, just stop attacking. (They do actually attack on their own very occasionally, but it's usually not enough to matter.) They'll counterattack Spells by weakening your entire party, and between their Magic Defense and immunities, it's a waste of time to try anyway. Physical attacks and summons are countered with physical attacks. Therefore, you can win easily by casting Blink on everyone, then attacking and restoring Blink as necessary. Bersk will make the process faster, but could make it difficult to keep up with Blink restoration.

Behemoths rely on the brutal Take Down attack to subdue their foes. They'll use it even more often when alone. Use Ice to defeat them, but avoid summons because the Behemoth will counter with Meteo.
