Chapter 11
Upon your arrival at The Paddraean Archaeopolis, you will be treated to an informative optional cutscene (assuming you haven't advanced the plot since starting Chapter 11). The Cie'th stone at the entrance is a Waystone that will let you teleport back here in the future if you complete its Mission. This area is infested with Cie'th that you likely haven't seen before. Mission 07, probably your first encounter with of the Undying, is here and allows access to the R&D Depot Retail Network, a key shop for late-game Weapon upgrading. There is nothing to do here beyond the Missions, so return (possibly via Waystone) when you're done here.

Note that this area is normally inhabited by Taxims and Nelapsis. However, when Mission 64 is active, more powerful Vetalas, Varcolacis, and Vampires will show up instead.
