There's not much to see here the first time you can show up, aside from a few nice Treasures. However, if you bring Kokkol some Adamant from the Adamant Grotto, he'll reforge the Legend Sword into Excalibur. The sword should be finished after the Lunar Whale appears (you don't actually have to go to the Moon). As an added bonus, a bit later after you've been to the Moon and back, he'll open up a Shop selling powerful Shuriken and Yoichi Arrows.
