This optional Area really only exists for its Shop, which sells a number of Items you can't find anywhere else. Bestiaries are cool but not that useful, and the Ether1, Ether2, and Elixir Items are all way overpriced. The most interesting Item for sale is the Whistle, which lets you call the Fat Chocobo from anywhere. This, too, is quite expensive, but valuable in the Lunar Subterrane if you like to keep all your old, but rare, gear. The problem is actually finding the Shop, since it's just one of many Hummingways wandering around the cavern. He starts off a bit northeast of your position, so finding him quickly helps.
