The top floor of the Ice Cave consists of two separate areas divided by a wall of stones. You cannot run from the massive groups of WIZARDS. The COCTRICES and MUMMIES are a good target for FIR2, unless you have a large supply of SOFT Potions on hand. HARM Spells are useful against the WRAITHS and R.BONES, but save some for later when you will run into some truly massive groups of Undead.

The massive groups of Piscodemons may tempt you to use Bolt2, but you're better off saving your level 3 Spell slots for Fire2 Spells. It's not a bad use of Bolt3, though. The Cockatrices and Mummies are a good target for Fire2, unless you have a large supply of Gold Needles on hand. Dia Spells are useful against the Specters and Bloodbones, but save some for later when you will run into some truly massive groups of Undead. White Dragons are a rare encounter, but don't take them lightly. NulIce can help, but a powerful physical attack will take them out pretty easily.
