The upside of this final battle is that you know exactly what the Cloud of Darkness will do each round: Particle Beam. If you can survive with a pair of Curajas each round, and two consecutive Particle Beams won't kill anyone, then you should be able to win. You can use Protect or Turtle Shells to enhance your Magic Defense early on, which can cut down Particle Beam's damage somewhat. Try to get Haste on any Ninjas not using Shuriken, and avoid using elemental Weapons. If your Sages start running low on MP, have a Ninja give them an Elixir to keep up the healing. A conservative strategy may be a bit boring, but after the long walk you took to get here, the last thing you want to do is risk a party wipe.
