BANE is your very first KO Spell, and it's not bad. It is fairly accurate and hits multiple targets, though many Monsters resist Poison. BANE is most useful against Monsters with a lot of HP, as the chance of success starts to outweigh the typical damage dealt by attack Spells. Most enemies have high Magic Defense by the time level 5 Spells become available, so don't expect BANE to ever have a great success rate.

QAKE is a multi-target KO Spell that is more accurate than RUB, another level 6 Spell. So what's the downside? Many Monsters (including those that fly or live in water) resist Earth. Of course, a lot of creatures also resist Death, so as level 6 instant-kill Spells go, QAKE isn't that bad. It's certainly not a priority, as you'll rarely want to risk wasting a level 6 Spell slot. As with all KO Spells, RedMAGES are never able to learn QAKE.
Banish is an interesting Spell. It's an all-target death Spell that isn't resisted by any Monster short of Chaos himself, but it isn't particularly accurate. Strangely it is nearly as accurate as Stop, and both are Time-elemental, making one wonder why you would ever want to Paralyze all your enemies when you can KO them almost as reliably. Unlike the rest of the non-Flare level 8 attack Spells, Banish can occasionally be useful in thinning large groups. Practically speaking, though, you're going to be saving most of those slots for Flare.
