Pyrolisks are incredibly weak foes that are easily killed, but they have a Gaze attack that causes instant KO. It's not particularly accurate, but they should still be taken out quickly before they have a chance to use it. While they are not weak to Lightning, Bolt2 should be perfectly sufficient to take out any number of them. Ice2 works even better if you don't need to conserve level 4 Spell slots.
