R.ANKYLOS are extremely dangerous creatures, among the deadliest you will find on the World Map. They have no tricks, but they have a very high Damage score and three hits. They can hit even your KNIGHT for three-digit damage, and can rip other Warriors apart effortlessly. To make matters worse, their Absorb and Magic Defense are both quite high. STUN can be useful.

Desert Barettas don't have the damage potential of their brethren, since they only have one attack, but that one attack is a doozy. They are even better defended, and with more HP, so expect them to get a few hits in before you can take them out. Fortunately they never appear in large numbers, though even a pair of them are a significant threat. Expect to use up some healing Spells or Potions after fighting these guys.
