The effect of Focus1 stacks with the effects of Focus2 as well as itself.
As Spells go, Focus1 is a bit anticlimactic. 10 evasion isn't an insignificant debuff, but if's nothing to write home about, either. It doesn't help the Focus2, which does the same thing to all enemies, is only a level 3 Spell. Still, it's a useful Spell to cast at the beginning of a long fight, and it is both accurate and non-elemental so it remains useful for a long time. Once your level 1 damage Spells become obsolete, Focus1 is not a bad alternative to take a dropped slot.
