Eyemoebas are scary looking, but aren't actually much of a threat. They resist most Status magic and absorb Poison, but other Elemental spells work just fine against them. They are themselves Poisonous, little more than an annoyance at this stage of the game. They deal a lot of damage, but with only 6 attacks at 75% accuracy, it's not much to worry about.
