This location is only accessible during certain plot points
Your task the first time you come here is to meet with Headmaster Martine. If you want to head straight there, go across the hall from the main entrance, then up the stairs on the side. You can also explore to find Draw points or people to talk to or play Cards with. Only the Haste, Shell, Life, and hidden Double Draw points are initially accessible.
Later on, you'll return here during a battle with Balamb Garden. You'll have an opportunity to name Squall's ring (!?), Griever. Don't miss the hidden Aura Draw point on the ground outside the entrance. Once you enter, you can form the party of your choice.
The interior of Galbadia Garden is a bit of a maze. If you head right from the entrance, you'll find Raijin and Fujin on the second floor landing from the stairway. The other directions lead only to empty classrooms and locked doors.
Head left from Fujin and Raijin and take the right-side door to find a student who will give you card key [1]. This opens a door to the ice rink back on the left side of the first floor. There's a student in a nearby classroom who will give you card key [2].
Return to the stairwell where you saw Fujin and Raijin and climb to the third floor. You can unlock this door with card key [2]. This will bring you to the athletic track, which you may have visited on your first trip.
You'll have access to the main hall at this point, and there is an optional battle with the GF Cerberus in the center. It is well worth fighting, because you won't be able to get Cerberus any other way until disc 4.
Head left from the main hall and search the classrooms for a student with card key [3]. This unlocks the remaining doors, but your destination is the second floor near the reception room you were sent to on your first trip. Go left from there to find the elevator. You'll find a save point and your adversaries at the top.
After defeating Seifer, Edea will transport through the floor. You'll find her (and Seifer, again) in the auditorium. Take the path around the main hall to get there. You won't be able to attack Edea until Seifer is defeated. Don't forget to Draw Alexander from her once you can target her! This is the final battle of disc 2.
