The Giant's Helm is in many ways the opposite of the Thief's Gloves you can also find in the Dreadnought. It is quite a bit heavier than the Mythril Helm, inflicting an 8% higher evasion % penalty for only 2 extra defense, but the cost is worth it—this helm grants a +10 bonus to strength as well. You will likely want to upgrade to a different strength-boosting item later, but the Giant's Helm is quite effective.
