Gold Needles are expensive, but you can buy 25 of them for the cost of learning Stona. It may not be strictly worth it, especially in a level with good party buffs, but it does promote long-term stinginess. Your White Wizard can get away with not learning Invis2 anyway, due to the White Robe, so it won't hurt to learn Stona.

Reaper is a single-target instant KO Spell that isn't particularly accurate. Further, a lot of Monsters (including all Undead) resist Death Spells. It's a fun Spell to cast, but it's really not very good. Quake is the same level and hits multiple targets, though many creatures resistant to Earth are not resistant to Death. Either way, you're probably better off saving a level 6 Spell slot for some other use.
Doom is the third in the line of "power word" Spells that only work on Monsters with less than 300 HP. Unfortunately, it doesn't work on Monsters resistant to Death, and there aren't a lot of sub-300 HP Monsters you're going to want to use this Spell on. And let's be honest, if there's a Monster with less than 300 HP, you're better off whacking him with a melee fighter's basic attack anyway. Doom is anticlimactic at best.

Break is a pretty pointless Spell, not because it's bad, but because Toad is strictly better. Like Toad, Monsters hit by Break are KO'd immediately, and the Spells share an Element, but Toad is more accurate. Thus there really isn't any reason to bother with this Spell. Used against the party, Stone requires an even higher level Esuna to cure than Toad, so keep your Gold Needles ready against enemies that cast Break.
