The World of Darkness is the final Area in the game, and once you enter, there is no way to leave or save. You'll be fighting five powerful bosses (and as many as four powerful chest guardians) before you're done here, so I hope you're prepared. Since you can't leave anyway, now is the time to use any consumable Items you've been hoarding, especially Elixirs. Also, because every boss here resists all Elements, bring non-elemental Weapons like the Moonring Blade and Excalibur (or just use Shuriken).
The strategy here depends on what you want to do. If you have plenty of Elixirs, the order of the bosses doesn't make much difference, except that you can collect Ribbons in each area. You definitely want all of your mages using Ribbons, but in the long run (i.e., against the Cloud of Darkness), front-line fighters are better off with Crystal Helms. However, Ribbons do help against several of the bosses and enemies here. Ribbons are of no help against the Two-Headed Dragon in the Northeast area, so you may want to start there. Alternately, the Northwest area offers an easy-to-find Ribbon, and Cerberus isn't terribly nasty if you have decent Magic Defense.
The best advice I can give is to have your front line use shields. The Evasion and Magic Defense will help you survive against all of these bosses, and survival is key here. Dealing lots of damage with two Weapons is nice, but you want your Sages to spend more time summoning Bahamut than healing injured Ninjas. (For the most part I am assuming you've brought a pair of Ninjas and a pair of Sages along. If not, adjust the advice here as necessary.)
